Walden
Walden was about a man who lives in the forest to have personal time to think about the problems in society. I currently am taking sociology which is the study of groups. Sometimes people feel society judges to much and categorize people in certian groups because of who they are as a person. So im guessing he decided to isolate him self from society so he can think of his own concepts of society. In the book he explains that poverty may not be all that bad. In life society makes being poor a horrible thing. They pass judgement and look down on the less fortunate people. He states that "money is not required to buy one nescessary of the soul." So just because your not rich doesnt mean you should value life any less but you should value it even more.
