Incident (poem)
I feel this poem symbolizes how people can remember the bad situatuions over the good ones. How we allow the bad situations to shape are experiences when we go to different places. It also shows how black people no matter what age were treated by the white people and it affected their life each and everday. I can relate this to something Martin luther king fought for to end. But in a weird way we have adapted it to a slang for everday culture. The way it used to be used back in the day has totally changed to the way we use it in modern times.

The Crucible
This movie was really corupted and just sad. Its sad to see how low people can go to cover themselves up when they do something totally wrong and was told not to. I guess some people really dont care. I felt bad for all the innocent people that died for someone elses lies. I dont undersand why they had to kill them god forgives. I really respect the people like John who stood up fpr what they believed and stood up for the truth!
A Rose for Emily
A Rose for Emily was really weird to me. How can someone be isolated away from everyone because their rich. Usually the rich people are very social and know most of the town. Even thou her dad was over protective she still could have found a way to do something like getting involved in an activity. I also believe that the neighbors should have been more friendly and not as judgemental because everone has their own problems. They just should have got to know her and in a way they turned her into who she was because society can definitley do that to a person!
Pushing the Bear
This book was really good and informative on how the native americans felt. Gives the reader a point of view through the Native American eyes. I really think that what the native americans went threw was very awful. Native americans lost their homes and belongings that were passed down generation to generation. I just wish that things had happened differently so that the Native Americans didnt have to suffer!
